Dr. Ogbeide is a Board-Certified Clinical Health Psychologist and Board-Certified Specialist in Obesity and Weight Management in primary care as well as the Director of Behavioral Health Education and an Associate Professor with the Family Medicine Residency at UT Health San Antonio. She also has a cross appointment in the Department of Psychiatry, Division of Behavioral Medicine at UT Health San Antonio serves as the Integrated Primary Care Behavioral Health Track Coordinator for the Psychology Residency. Dr. Ogbeide serves as a consultant for the Greater Houston Behavioral Health Affordable Care Act Initiative, which focuses on engaging and increasing the delivery of integrated health services in Greater Houston and throughout the state of Texas. She is the 2018 recipient of the Wingspread Honoree Award through the Collaborative Family Healthcare Association (CFHA) and the 2019 recipient of the Association for Psychologists in Academic Health Centers’ Early Career Psychologist Contributions Award. She recently served as the Co-Chair for the Primary Care Behavioral Health Special Interest Group and Co-Chair for the 2017 CFHA’s Annual Conference. She currently serves on the board of directors for CFHA as well. Dr. Ogbeide has published in the area of integrated primary care and behavioral medicine, has over 100 conference presentations, and teaches graduate courses in behavioral medicine and integrated primary care behavioral health at Our Lady of the Lake University (San Antonio, Texas) and the University of Texas San Antonio. Her professional areas of interest include: The Primary Care Behavioral Health (PCBH) consultation model, behavioral medicine/health psychology, geropsychology, and the education and training of health professionals.
